I could feel the warm morning glow on my skin as I bounced my head along to the music. I jogged alone on the trail through the cemetery. Actually one of the best mornings I’ve had in a while.

My mind has been so consumed with meetings and coordinating interns in different time zones that I forgot to spend time with the most important person in my life…myself.

I know that when the time and person is right an amazing love will enter my life, but for now I am really enjoying my freedom. Today I stand and appreciate my life not because of my accomplishments, but because I am living and breathing. Sometimes we forget that each day is a blessing.
