Hopeless Hope

While bouncing around my studio like a beach dance party, a song stopped me in my tracks. It was one that reminded of a relationship that ended before my move to London 9 years ago.

At the time I did everything in my power to make that love last. I sat on that sinking ship to the point of drowning. In the past whenever I heard this song my heart would ache at the memory of the pain.

Today I look around my studio at the dresses I have made and the lives I have touched. If that ‘dream’ came true then I would not have this one. The song now brings a sense of reassurance that there is a greater plan even better then my own.
