This Far

I woke at 3am and walked outside, there the moon glowed back at me as a bat flew overhead. I was staying in a beautiful Balinese village surrounded by rice fields.

Early that day I met with a lovely artisan making lace, found a short-term lease on a room in the village and concluded the evening teaching English to the local kids.

It’s amazing how things fall into place. We still have a lot of work ahead of us to make this dream a reality, but I just stood there thanking the moon for shining and all the people that have taken us this far.
