Ever pop in a shop for one item only to return with a cart. I am always piling it high, a silly resume of accomplishments. To keep it to one a page I have to lower the font, tighten up the margins and delete some names. During the IPod craze I refused to buy one, as I felt it disconnected people. My sister gave me an IPod eventually and then another present with the IPod touch and then IPhone.
It has made life in the virtual world much more connected, but at what expense? I know I am addicted to checking emails and updates. I use blog posts to keep me writing, but it is odd to send a telegram to the world. So personal yet impersonal. A girl I knew, but was not so close to started a wellness blog. At the time I was in London and working an amazing job for a top luxury fashion house. Ironically I was unhappy walking on the beautiful street where we lived.
I was really low and her blog helped me. She said to get a dream journal and plan to change your life for the better. I didn’t message her at the time, but I followed her instructions and began cultivating a dream. Someone else posted a quote about quitting a job if you are unhappy. I thought that was ridiculous. Then here we are so many years later and I am typing from various parts of the world on this MacBook Air that is light and perfect for my backpack and books. Maybe some complications are necessary to create impact.

Just finished reading a book on the Fitzgeralds, very interesting couple.
