So easy to get tangled in the twists of change. What may seem like a door slamming may just be an elevator dinging. Head up. Resettlement in the US has been a challenge with: transport, job hunt for independence. I hit my lowest point on Sunday! Then on Tuesday I fought back. I decided not to be the victim of chance.
I brushed my hair and dressed my red lips. No way was I going to let self imposed negativity lure me in. I turned and walked the other way. Pulled my shoulders up, back and settled down. Tomorrow is our today.
I refuse to settle for less. I want more! Love for the kindness of my sister and her boyfriend. For all those wonderful people who give unconditionally. They are the beauty which makes me the wealthiest girl I know. 😉
