Creative Continuity

Continue to create even when you don’t feel great, for if you keep making those small but important decisions, you will find your way. You will come up against resistance. You will back down, but if you push back against your doubts and keep aligning with your mission, you can and will become your most brilliant self.

I have been struggling for years to show up for my own fashion line. I think it is because I faced disappointment and did not desire to overcome another hurdle. Leveraging that excuse to walk away was far easier than evolving with the process.

Then a decade passed, and I still longed for that fashion dream. So I moved through the urge to plummet and instead rose to reach my desires. For I know that all the excuses in the world will not balance out the regret I would feel by not living my purpose.

If you are standing on the line, trying to decide, do the uncomfortable thing and stand up to yourself. Be honest about what you really want to push for progress. Everything inside you will scream and shout to turn back, but ignore those voices and make intentional choices. You can and must be authentically you.

We are working on the Daisy dress to be made in Baltimore.
We had finalized the sample in black, but had problems with the lace so we decided to make the Daisy dress with the original lace we brought back from Bali, Indonesia.
I like watching this show House of Eliott and dream of making Elsa Fitzgerald more like this old world fashion house in London.
I am going to update my cork board with some sketches and fabric swatches.
