I hit a wall once again. I was seated behind the sewing machine, and the zipper instructions for my home assignment seemed scrambled in my brain. I was frozen, unable to move. Running into the next room, I proceeded to make dinner before getting ready for my sewing class.
I messaged my instructor to inquire if we might work on my home assignment in class. She pushed my shoulders down as we sat at the machine, and she played music as a soundtrack to put me at ease. The first time on my own was guided, with each motion shaped through her words. Then she was silent and let me learn.
To my surprise, despite my nervousness, I began to remember the motions and found my footing. Sometimes the thing that we love lives beyond our ambition to dream and our ability to move thoughts into action. It is time that I set aside time to practice, practice, practice until the desire is my reality.
What is the repetition you require to set in motion the boundless dreams that live in your heart? What small steps are you taking and holding yourself accountable for to move this idea into activation? Is there a guide who can support you through the hard parts where you might stop, so you can thrive?
