As I have shifted lanes into the Royal Dressmaker seat, I have created guardrails to keep me on track. This includes, for starters, setting no as the default response to inquiries. For every yes, alternative priorities jump the queue in my to-do list. I am here to hold fast to my fashion dreams.
I am doing this by setting up systems that better position me to win. This begins with a recurring schedule around the key elements that are building toward the results I desire. These include wellness and self-maintenance time, sewing skills training, doctoral studies, and revenue models.
It is not about doing a lot of things, but rather the right things. When we busy ourselves with too much, we lose the ability to intentionally invest in the elements that truly matter. I have decided to focus on three priorities: Elsa Fitzgerald Revenue Models, Royal Dressmaker training and Doctoral Studies.
What are your top three focus areas for 2026? How will you ensure you stay on track without taking on too much? How can you shift your conviction toward your greatest calling—even in a small way—so it becomes your top priority without energetic pressure? And can you make its pursuit joyful?
